You know I’m obsessed with keeping you off my treatment table—because while I love seeing you, I’d much rather run into you at the park, the pickleball court, or the farmer’s market.
That’s why I’m always looking for simple, zero-cost ways to help you build a stronger, more resilient body—and this week’s move is no exception.
💥 Move to Try: The Countertop Push-Up
This is one of my favorite “entry-level strength builders” for the upper body—and all you need is your kitchen counter.
✅ Strengthens your chest, shoulders, and triceps
✅ Helps you live longer
✅ Preps you for harder floor-based push-ups down the line
✅ Encourages healthy wrist and shoulder mechanics
Here’s how to do it: Watch the video here
Stand about an arm’s length away from your counter
Place your hands on the edge, just outside shoulder width
Keep your body in a straight line (don’t let your hips sag or pop up)
Lower your chest slowly to the counter, elbows bending to about 45 degrees
Push back up to the start
Try 2 sets of 10–12 reps every day this week, especially while your coffee brews or your leftovers reheat. It’s a no-sweat way to get and stay strong.
